Baseball is typically a team sport, but the home run derby shifts the focus to individual sluggers, placing them directly in the spotlight to display their incredible power. all eyes are on a lone star
They are playing up the theme of a single star getting their shot at glory, their time to shine.

The visual palette is heavily leaned into the spotlight and shadow to contribute to the battle that comes down to one.

We integrated each main player into a lifelike stadium setting. Our team flew to Texas to capture footage of the actual stadium for the backplate. We then rotoscoped each player and seamlessly incorporated them into the scene, adding spotlight, lens flare, and shadows for a realistic effect. I was responsible of the shots below

We also filmed and shot Marcello Hernandez, the American actor and comedian, with a striking backlit style. We created a dramatic and powerful silhouette that added depth an intensity to the visual narrative.
