This world exists in an undefined space that mixes architectural and natural elements to create a surreal setting. The lack of horizon in this space will disorient the spatial awareness of the viewer, adding to the horror feel of the piece. We’ll see a creature move throughout this space, utilizing a flowing animation style to depict movement.
Breathing Life into Brock Hofer's Neon World
As a 2D animator, I breathed life into the awe-inspiring illustrated artwork by Brock Hofer. With his expertise in illustrating neon-infused monsters and environments, I embarked on the journey of transforming his creation into a captivating 3D space. Through the mesmerizing dolly-zoom effect, I injected vitality into this artwork by introducing swirling green dust, erupting smokes, pulsating surfaces, deepening shadows, flourishing splines, shattering pillars, and seamlessly blending the monster animation.
